In March 2018, the Rise of Church of Jesus Christ – Mandaue launched the Basketball ministry. It started when some of the young guys suggested having this kind of approach in reaching out to more unbelieving youths. And at last, the desire of ministering to more young people by means of playing basketball was put into a reality. As a result, many young men were encouraged to join and play because the game doesn’t only allow them to run and play to their heart’s content but every after game, the Word of God was introduced to them as well.

Note: The Basketball ministry was temporarily stopped because the local government still prohibited gathering of people and/or activities that gathered a lot of people. Nevertheless, the church is still hopeful that this ministry will resume one day and will continue to help spread the Good News.
