National Event

According to Agatha Christie, “The first time you do a thing is always exciting.” Indeed, it was! as the RCJC Ministry celebrated its very first national convention in May 2013.

The planning took almost a year as most of the committee were first-timers too. There were a lot of challenges, not to mention the financial aspect of the organization, but these never stopped the team from pushing more to the big event as everyone was more excited than ever.

Participants reached more than a hundred, and everyone was so overwhelmed by the works of God in their lives. With its theme, “Seeking God Brings Blessings,” all participants were reminded by the word of God to look first for His presence before anything else, and all things shall be given.

The event lasted for three days and two nights, with a variety of activities and workshops which helped each one. It was historic to every RCJC member, and many lives were renewed and revived by the power of the Holy Spirit. The event was fun yet spiritually empowering at the same time. By the grace of God, the first-ever national convention was a successful event. All glory and praise be to God as it ended with hearts full of joy and lives filled with the Holy Spirit!
